MAAT는 UNESCO Thesaurus에 한국어 대표어와 범위 주기를 더한 6개 언어 (아랍어·영어·스페인어·프랑스어·한국어·러시아어) 다국어 시소러스입니다. UNESCO Thesaurus는 교육·문화·자연과학·사회과학·정보커뮤니케이션 분야의 국제 통제어휘로, 전 세계 문헌의 주제 분석과 검색에 쓰입니다. MAAT는 그 4,499개 개념 전체에 한국어를 부여했습니다.

MAAT is a six-language edition (ar·en·es·fr·ko·ru) of the UNESCO Thesaurus, adding Korean preferred terms and scope notes to all 4,499 concepts. The UNESCO Thesaurus is an international controlled vocabulary for education, culture, natural and social sciences, and communication.

2. 왜 만들었나요 · Why we built it

마을만들기·자치·도시농촌재생·생태·사회연대경제·민주주의 현장에는 30여 년간 축적된 기록과 지식이 있지만, 이를 국제 표준 체계로 분류·연결하는 도구가 없었습니다. 마을만들기전국네트워크는 현장의 지식을 세계와 잇기 위해 UNESCO 어휘를 한국어로 옮기고 주석을 더했습니다. 이는 한국에서 UNESCO 시소러스를 한국어로 공개하는 첫 시도입니다.

The fields of community-building, local autonomy, urban-rural regeneration, ecology, social & solidarity economy and democracy hold decades of accumulated knowledge, yet lacked a way to classify and connect it through an international standard. The Maeulmandulgi National Network created this first Korean edition of the UNESCO Thesaurus to bridge field knowledge with the world.

메인 화면에서 MAAT 어휘를 선택해 개념을 검색하거나, 계층(상위어·하위어·관련어)을 따라 탐색하세요. 화면 오른쪽 위에서 표시 언어를 한국어·영어 등으로 바꿀 수 있습니다.

현장 활용 예시

• 마을 기록물 분류 — 마을 아카이브·사진·구술 자료에 표준 주제어를 부여해 체계적으로 정리
• 정책·사업 문서 색인 — 정책 제안서·사업 보고서의 주제를 국제 표준 어휘로 태깅해 검색·연계
• 지식 연결 — UNESCO 개념 URI를 매개로 국내 자료를 해외 문헌·데이터와 상호 연결
